The TOEFL iBT test is one of the most challenging English proficiency tests required for entry to many universities and colleges all over the world. This app has been designed to help students prepare for the challenges of this test. In particular, this app helps test takers develop confidence in three key areas: advanced English proficiency; academic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills; as well as other academic skills such as, for example, note-taking. The app consists of 10 audio lectures, 500 multiple-choice questions, and 300 flashcards.

The 10 units have been designed to help review four academic English skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening, as well as to familiarize students with the structure of the TOEFL iBT.

Unit 1 reviews academic reading skills; Unit 2 focuses on describing TOEFL iBT reading questions in detail; Unit 3 aims to familiarize students with the principles of English academic writing; Unit 4 gives information about the TOEFL iBT writing tasks; Unit 5 reviews advanced grammatical structures; Unit 6 focuses on speaking and pronunciation skills; Unit 7 describes the TOEFL iBT speaking tasks in detail; Unit 8 reviews academic listening skills; Unit 9 gives sample TOEFL iBT listening tasks. Finally, Unit 10 covers general information about the TOEFL iBT test.

The 500 multiple-choice questions provide numerous sample TOEFL iBT questions and tasks that help learners master academic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The questions simulate the real TOEFL iBT test questions. They have been designed with a particular focus on helping test takers build their confidence and do well on the TOEFL iBT test.

The 300 flashcards focus on developing students’ vocabulary base. They have been designed in a unique way to help learners expand their vocabulary. Each vocabulary flashcard includes a definition, part of speech, sample sentence, as well as up to 4 synonyms for each word.
